Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jenna Armstrong always wanted a career in which she would be able to care for pets while using her keen problem-solving skills to help others. Veterinary medicine was the perfect fit! Now, Dr. Armstrong is an Associate Veterinarian here at the Ark Animal Hospital of Chalfont.Dr. Armstrong grew up in Perkiomenville, Pennsylvania with her parents and brother. She attended Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, Pennsylvania for her undergraduate degree in zoo science, working at the local SPCA at the same time. After graduating, she attended the University of Missouri to receive her veterinary degree. In 2011, Dr. Armstrong joined the Ark Animal Hospital team.Thanks to her interest in zoo science, exotic animal care is one of Dr. Armstrong’s favorite aspects of her job. She continues to be inspired by every pet she cares for—their positivity and zeal for life is infectious!Dr. Armstrong and her husband Brad have a toddler-aged son, Gabriel, who is obsessed with cars, trucks, and beagles. The family shares their home with Becky, a miniature poodle, Lady Lumps, a cat that Dr. Armstrong adopted during veterinary school, and two rescued felines named Caterpillar and Beanbag.
